The Chester City Housing Authority Police Department supports the safety and security of Chester Housing Authority residents, employees, visitors, and properties in Chester, Pennsylvania.

Established in 2000, CHAPD combines visible public-safety service, resident engagement, and coordination with local and regional law-enforcement partners.

Our new website is being developed to provide department information, community resources, historical materials, and important public updates. While that work continues, explore the CHAPD archive to learn about the department’s origins and the evolution of its insignia.
